This is a lovely hotel with great restaurants, BUT there were some definite problems and some missing items from the room. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room which you would expect in a 4 star hotel. In the bathroom there was nowhere to hang your damp bath towels to dry off, not even a hook on the door. In the main bedroom there is no makeup mirror and what could be classed as the desk/dressing table, there is no light. The bathroom light is good, but the stool provided in there was not high enough to see myself in the mirror and I really don't want to put my makeup on in a room I or my husband has just showered in.|When we arrived, the lift would also not stop at the floor that reception was on. This was rectified by the following morning. The safe was also jammed open and this took the whole day to fix, leaving me no option but to carry our passports etc out with us at night. We also asked for shampoo and shower gel to be replaced and an extra pillow on our second day there. Having been out for the full day, we returned and nothing had been delivered. It took 3 more visits to reception before items were replaced and this only happened when we came back at night. For a 4 star hotel I did expect service to be better.
Nuestra estancia en este hotel fue corta pero muy agradable. A destacar la atención y amabilidad del personal, especialmente en recepción y en el restaurante El Olivo. Cenamos en este restaurante y todo estaba buenísimo, además de ser acogedor y tener un buen ambiente e iluminación en el entorno de la piscina. Para repetir
I recently played at Alicante Golf Course and was really impressed. The course was in brilliant condition throughout, with well-kept fairways and smooth greens that made the round even more enjoyable. It’s a long course, but the layout is very well thought out, offering a great balance of challenge and playability. Each hole felt unique, keeping the round interesting from start to finish.
We had a fantastic room overlooking the golf course and the pool. The bed was comfortable and huge, as was the room. The bathroom would benefit from a refurb, although I understand some of the rooms are refurbished. We were disappointed with the service at the pool restaurant at lunchtime, and in the main restaurant in the evening, we were disappointed with the food offerings. For example, there was a pork loin dish that came with nothing, and no option to order either, the burger was served with crisps - strange! The food itself was fine, just very odd. There were people in the pool sitting on the steps whilst smoking, none of the staff spoke to them about it! Again strange.

No cambian las toallas diariamente. El minibar está esta vacío.|Pedimos una plancha para que la tuvieran preparada y cuando llegamos al hotel tuvimos que ir a por ella. |En pleno agosto, solo tenían un camarero en Uno de los restaurantes del hotel.|Además, no tienen gimnasio , pero siguen los carteles en el hotel como si lo tuviera.
Gorgeous Hotel Let Down by Unprofessional Reception Staff The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful — elegant design, spacious lounges on every floor, and overall a luxurious, well-maintained atmosphere. I genuinely enjoyed the aesthetics and comfort the property offers. However, my experience was unfortunately tainted by the behavior of some of the front desk staff. Upon check-in, I was greeted by a young lady who barely spoke any English. While I understand not everyone is fluent, considering this hotel caters to international tourists, basic English proficiency should be a requirement. That said, she seemed well-intentioned and genuinely tried to assist, so I didn’t dwell on it. What truly shocked me happened on the last day of my stay. After checking out (with several hours left before my flight), I decided to relax in one of the hotel’s many lounge areas. I quietly lay down on a couch, watching a movie on my phone with earphones, not disturbing anyone. Out of nowhere, a receptionist named Rosario approached me and told me to "sit properly" because I was "not allowed to lay on the couch." I asked her what she meant — I was still a guest. She insisted that lying down was not permitted and that I could only sit, which I found both rude and unnecessary, especially given that I was clean, fully dressed, and the area was empty. Shocked by the behaviour, I asked for her name and spoke to the manager. While the manager did apologize for her tone, she went on to justify the behavior by saying guests weren’t allowed to lie on the couch due to "concerns about the feet" and "other guests’ comfort." I found this explanation weak, especially since I was clearly clean and no one else was around, I was in the furthest area away from entrance of the hotel with main lobby area. The manager seemed to be scrambling for a way to excuse the situation rather than taking responsibility. Meanwhile, that receptionist girl stood nearby with a smug expression, as if she owned the entire hotel — incredibly rude and unbelievable behaviour! I was truly taken aback. The only member of the front desk staff who consistently showed professionalism was a young man with dark curly hair — always very polite, attentive, kind, and spoke great English. He was pleasantly standing out in contrast to the untrained and dismissive behavior shown by some of his female colleagues, including the manager at the reception. It’s important for management to recognize that guests don’t just remember the beauty of a hotel — they remember how they were treated. Front desk staff represent the face of the hotel, and if they are rude or unprofessional, it reflects poorly on the entire establishment. On a positive note, the staff at the restaurant and cafeteria were always warm, welcoming, and helpful. It’s a shame that this group of front desk ladies acted as if they were in their own home, rather than working in hospitality. Their behavior genuinely impacted what could have been a flawless experience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and invests in proper customer service training — because it’s the people, not just the place, that define a guest’s stay.
Rimelig godt tatt imot i resepsjonen, dog bør de ansatte lære seg å snakke engelsk i en slik rolle. Pent og rent rom. Fine omgivelser og fin terrasse. Aircondition fungerte godt på rommet som er en forutsetning med 30 gr.C. Nydelig frokost men et håpløst personale som ikke forstår hva service er. Her er det noen som har noe å lære.
