I was in Alicante for a week and booked an intensive course for five days. The academy itself is centrally located in a very nice building opposite a church and is only a few minutes' walk from the harbour, where I always enjoyed spending my lunch break in the sun. For part of the week I had lessons with Rawan who also runs the academy. Rawan is a lovely and attentive person. Despite my limited Spanish, she encouraged me to speak and told me a lot about life in Alicante. I also really liked the fact that the lessons weren't timetabled and Rawan always included what was happening around us or reacted immediately when she realised that I was interested in something. One day, for example, there was a Spanish wedding right outside the window which we watched together from the balcony. The other day we had breakfast together (I had to order in Spanish, of course ;-)) and ate a typical and very tasty tostada. Rawan also helped me a lot outside of class and asked her friends about dancing in the city, for example, as I wanted to go to a Bachata social. On another day, she brought me a Spanish cake when I had a lesson with my second teacher, Ana Maria. Ana Maria has Peruvian roots which was also very interesting, so that I not only got to know the Spanish, but also the Latin American side. Ana Maria also made a lot of effort to help me getting out the most of the class, even though she was new to Alicante and the academy herself. On the day of my departure, I was even allowed to leave my suitcase at the academy and Rawan spontaneously showed me a small shop where I could buy a souvenir despite being at work (unfortunately, I couldn't pack the delicious ice cream from the ice cream parlour a few metres away from the academy in my suitcase ;-)). In general, I never had the feeling that I was at a school, it felt more like I was spending time with friends. For anyone who wants to speak a lot and is looking for a school that sees you as an individual student and engages with you personally, I can highly recommend Rawan and her team. Our teacher is very professional but also has a sense of humour. She constructs the classes to suit our ability and challenges our level at times. Letizia has excellent patience with us, never rushing us to answer questions and this gives us the confidence to always try and answer. We are really happy with our lessons and would recommend Letizia if you are wanting to learn a new language. R&D

Une école tres professionnelle, avec des enseignants natif qui ont beaucoup d’expérience. Mon enseignante s’appelait Ines. Elle était très a l’écoute moi qui ne parlait aucun mot espagnol, tout avait l’air facile avec elle. Donc je recommande a 100% excellent rapport qualité prix.

This language academy is phenomenal! The people there are so nice and friendly and they will actually teach you the language! If I could put more stars I definitely would! 100/10, the best of the best! Thank you YaHablas!
